When going to Bryce Canyon sometimes you like to venture out a bit before or after your trip, and there’s no better place than Tropic Reservoir. Especially if you’re looking for things to do in Bryce Canyon that may be a little outside the box. If you’re ready to go fishing, horseback riding, or taking a spin on an ATV, then Tropic won’t disappoint.
The lake is often stoked with 10 inch trout so if it’s you inner fisherman that’s calling, then Tropic Reservoir is a fantastic spot for you.
The ATV trails that surround the lake is also what entices so many people. Obviously you can’t ride an ATV in Bryce Canyon, which makes Tropic a great place to add to your Bryce Canyon adventure. There are multiple trails that traverse the lake shore and go up into the mountains that are sure to give you the thrill you’re after.
